ICV Christmas Dinner Party

Dear Friends,
International Christian Voice (ICV) celebrated a Christmas Party on the evening of December 16th at the Chef Kausar Autaq Banquet Hall. With ICV’s encouragement, the program for the evening was organized by ICV-sponsored refugee families who have recently settled and established themselves in Canada. The event was well attended and was supported by the Pakistani Canadian Community and ICV-sponsored families. The action-packed and fun-filled evening was a grand success, with Carol singing, Christmas Nativity Play, Christmas Quiz for the children with prizes and games for everyone to join in and interact with one another. Chef Kausar excelled with tasty snacks and a delicious dinner. Consul General of Pakistan, Khalil Ahmed Bajwa was the chief guest for the evening.

International Christian Voice Celebrated Christmas Dinner on December 10th 2022 with Christian Community, The program was held at Hope Reformed Church in Brampton. 2022 was the most successful year for the arrivals of refugees in Canada. Since 2016-2021 in five years, a total of 19 families, 63 individuals reached Canada on Permanent Resident Status. This year alone in 2022, 28 families and 79 individuals have arrived. At the end of the program all the refugee families that have come and are living a prosperous life with freedom, expressed how they feel and how their lives have changed since they came to Canada. Children of each family were given gifts in order to celebrate this joyous occasion.
